My shoot today was not kitty cats nor flowers but both caught my attention so I snapped. The kitty’s eyes were a pale milk cloud color just like the flower. The cat followed us around the entire shoot – like an apprentice. Loved her.
The Caporasos
Got to reconnect with some old friends when I was back East. The last time I photographed the ‘boys’, they were well under 10 years old and I had not seen them since. Great to re-meet them, now men – 24 and 25, and fall back into the easy comfort and familiarity with their parents.

A good high school friend initiated my DC trip by hiring me to come photograph her beloved 97 year old aunt.
This lady’s spirit is not wearied by her earthbound years – at all!
Neither is her mind. One very intelligent lady.
